The Best Steak (Pinoy Bistek)



ingredients
1 pc of angus round steak (about 1 1/2 lb), sliced thin
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice (or kalamansi)
2 large white onions cut into rings-
2 tbsp olive oil


directions



  • marinade beef with soy sauce, lemon juice, and onions. about 30 minutes or overnight in the fridge.

  • in a large skillet heat oil on medium high and saute beef until golden brown, about 10 minutes.

  • spoon out the beef from the skillet and set aside.

  • on the same skillet add more oil if needed and saute onions, not more than 10 minutes.

  • add beef and sauce. simmer for few minutes until thick.

  • serve with white rice.
